What is an open fire?
An open fire is any fire that can spread through the ground or by sparks. Examples include disposable grills, campfires, brush burning and bonfires.

If you notice a wildfire, act as follows
- Call the emergency number 112.
- Warn people nearby.
- If it is a small fire, try to extinguish it with water or sand, but do not put yourself in danger.
- Move to a safe location if necessary.
